PhD Letters for Scholarships Student Environmental Chemistry

To reduce to close this knowledge gap, the project has launched CityPOP.
This position requires a highly motivated scientist with experience in trace analytical chemistry. Some familiarity in modeling is of considerable advantage. CityPOP requires a scientist interested in challenging experimental work, keen in applying computer models, efficient in interacting with different research teams, having good communication skills, and enjoying outdoor field work. The successful candidate holds a master degree in chemistry, environmental or natural sciences with an excellent academic record.

Rothamsted International Fellowship Scheme Letters for Scholarships


The Letters for Scholarships main objective of this program awards is the exchange of scientific skills essential and relevant technologies for agricultural and environmental needs and expectations of developing countries and emerging markets. The Letters for Scholarships are funded through donations;
they are scientists proven ability working in developing countries or emerging countries, further research with scientists from Rothamsted for periods up to one year. It is expected that Fellows return to their home country at the end of the term of the scholarship.


ELIGIBILITY

Letters for Scholarships In addition to the points made above (in 1.1):
1.2.1 Applications will normally be considered from established scientists from developing or emerging countries under two main criteria:
(a) the applicant must have a substantiated track record, which will enable him/her to actively collaborate in research at Rothamsted;
(b) a primary concern should be the transfer of basic skills and technologies relevant to
the applicant’s home country.
1.2.2 Candidates from developed countries are eligible for Fellowships and awards. These are on
condition that applications for alternative sources have been made for this purpose but were

When the Letters for Scholarship College of Advanced Technology was founded in 1829, Denmark had its first MSc programme in Engineering at a high academic level. The Letters for Scholarship College changed its name to Danish Technical College in 1933 and finally became the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in 1994. DTU has always had a strong theoretical grounding. H.C. Ørsted, the man who discovered electromagnetism, founded the College in the image of École Polytechnique in France. The Letters for Scholarship objective was to educate young men to work in industry, but in the beginning DTU was not able to teach practice, so the college mainly educated technical teachers.

Books Team Senior Supervisor Letters for Scholarships

As a Books Team Supervisor, you will lead the day to day activities of the team in acquiring and processing books, both print and electronic, and other multimedia items for the University Library collections. You will be required to contribute to the planning and documenting of procedures and take responsibility for the training of the staff to ensure that the quality of the work is maintained at all times.

The Library is open 52 weeks per year, including evenings and weekends and during University closed periods. Staff are required to recognise the nature of the service, and demonstrate a degree of flexibility in their working hours/patterns and, with appropriate notice, will be required to work weekends, Bank Holidays and University closure days.

Post holders may be required to work at any site of the University. Evening and weekend staff must be available for training in the weekday daytime by arrangement. Duties are flexibly organised and the responsibilities of the post may change as the needs of the service develop. The closing date for this post is midnight on 8th April 2011.
